Active Ingredients: Nitenpyram Usage:For use as a quick kill of adult fleas only for infested dogs and cats. Capstar interferes with the normal nerve transmission of the flea and leads to its rapid death. Fleas start to fall in just 30 minutes and over 90% of fleas are gone within 4 hours on dogs and 6 hours on cats. May be given with or without a meal. It enters the gastrointestinal tract and is absorbed rapidly through the bloodstream. There are no side effects and no contraindications. Safe to give to pregnant and nursing females, and for puppies and kittens 4 weeks and older that weigh 2 pounds or greater. It is safe to give another dose as often as once per day. 11.4 mg for dogs and cats 2-25 lbs. and 57.0 mg for dogs 26-125 lbs.
