-Also used to treat a type of Cushing’s disease (hyperadrenocorticism).
Description
Anipryl (selegiline hydrochloride) tablets are white, convex tablets containing 2, 5, 10, 15, and 30 mg of selegiline HCl. It is commonly referred to in the clinical and pharmacological literature as L-deprenyl (the levorotatory form of deprenyl HCl).
Selegiline hydrochloride is(-)-(R)-N,α-Dimethyl-N-2-propynylphenethylamine hydrochloride.
