A non-prescription, quality pancreatic enzyme concentrate from a whole, raw, freeze-dried porcine pancreas that works to improve digestion. Compare to Viokase-V.  Enzymes help break down proteins, fats and starches for good digestion and absorption of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It improves absorption of essential nutrients and has high concentrations of lipase, protease and amylase. Dosage is administered before each meal and is estimated according to the severity of the condition and weight of the animal. Average dose/meal: Dogs: 3⁄4 to 1 teaspoonful (2.8 gr/tsp) or 2-3 capsules. Cats: 1⁄4 to 3⁄4 teaspoonful or 1 capsule.
