Give your pet its own screen door so you don't have to keep letting it in or out. The door installs easily in a screen door or window screen with just a knife and hammer. The 8" by 10" opening lets pets weighing up to 30 lbs. come and go freely. The door is made with durable plastic frames with magnets that keep the door from swinging in a strong breeze. An inside lock lets you fasten the door securely when it is not in use.
How to Install Your Pet Screen Door
1.Remove your screen door or window screen and place it on a hard, flat surface with the outside of the screen facing up.
2.Separate the two parts of your Pet Screen Door, making sure the locks are in the unlocked position.
3.The center of the Pet Screen Door should be at your pet's shoulder height. Place the frame (with the grooves up) under your screen door or window in this location.
4.Is your screen door metal or fiber? If it is metal, cut around the entire edge of A. If it is fiber, cut around B. Using the grooves as a guide, cut with a small, sharp knife. Hold the Pet Screen Door frame firmly so it doesn't move during cutting. Remove the cut-out portion of the screen.
5.Place the front section of the outer frame into position on the back section, trapping the cut edge of the screen. Using a mallet, tap the two frame sections together until they are firmly joined all around. Replace your screen door or window screen. Urge your pet through the door using a treat.
